SpotHero Parking Reservations

We are investigating a potential class action against SpotHero on behalf of app users who’ve experienced problems using the app to book  parking. Numerous users have booked and paid for parking spaces through SpotHero, only to find the spaces are already full when they arrive.  Others have been unable to use the SpotHero app’s QR code to enter or leave parking lots.

For instance, one customer complained online that:

"The lot that we rented through Spothero was full and we were turned away two different times. Spothero has not refunded the money and their customer service is not very supportive and they closed the claim without offering a refund."

You may be able to take legal action.

A class action lawsuit is a way for a group of people who have suffered similar harms to bring a single collective case and share in any potential award. You become part of a group, with far more potential power than filing a lawsuit on your own—and at no cost to you.

Filing a class action lawsuit allows us to consolidate evidence, witnesses, and litigation expenses to make the lawsuit more efficient and effective. The collective “clout” of the class is typically far more effective than an action by any individual plaintiff.

No! The attorneys work on contingency, and only get paid if the case is successful. Any fees they may be awarded are determined by the court and paid by the defendant.

You may qualify if you:

  • Have booked a parking space through the SpotHero app, only to find the space is full when you arrive at the lot;
  • Have been turned away by a parking lot despite having booked and paid for a parking space with the SpotHero app;
  • Could not use the SpotHero app to enter or exit a parking lot;
  • Are unable to receive a full refund for SpotHero’s confirmation of your booked parking spot
