"The DOJ’s Charges Against the Maduros Actually Seem Pretty Strong" (Slate, January 7, 2026) features Shirin Ali's interview with Pollock Cohen managing partner Adam Pollock on the arraignment of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, and how the Justice Department's charges against the Maduros will play out.

He notes that as compared to the 'bare-bones' indictments of James Comey or Letitia James, " ... Here, we have a robust indictment full of detail, meetings, descriptions of events ... going back for almost two decades."
