In “Class Cert. Granted In Pornhub Child Porn Victims' Suit” (Law360, November 20, 2023), Law360 reports on the California federal court's decision granting class certification to the victims of child sex abuse materials that were published by MindGeek USA Inc. (Pornhub).
The court decided that granting the victims class treatment is not only appropriate for their claims, but also a critical measure in preventing the same kind of child sex abuse content from being posted online in the future.
