Apple sued again over App Store data collection allegations

In “Apple sued again over App Store data collection allegations” (Apple Insider, January 10, 2023), Apple Insider reports that a lawsuit has been filed against Apple in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The lawsuit seeks to hold Apple accountable for what it calls “a flagrant violation of consumer privacy,” and alleges that Apple is unlawfully collecting data from users of iPhones and iPads, even after consumers explicitly choose settings that prevent data sharing.  

Pollock Cohen managing partner Adam Pollock is representing plaintiffs in this case.
