Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a smart, energetic, highly organized recent college graduate to join our team in a key role: Legal Analyst. The difference between this position and similarly-titled – or paralegal – positions at other top firms is that at P|C you will have a substantive role in important and varied cases from day one. As one of our previous legal analysts wrote, “We don’t hire recent grads to toil for us, but rather to work with us.”

This is a growth oriented role. You will begin the role as a Legal Analyst with office management responsibilities—a hybrid role where you gain exposure to how our law firm works from both a legal and business perspective. As you grow and gain more experience at the firm, there is an opportunity to become a Senior Legal Analyst, which involves a full analyst workload.

We want someone who is pretty sure they want to go to law school and is seeking real, hands-on exposure to the profession before they take the plunge. Most of our former legal analysts have gone on to top law schools, and a few have decided that law is not for them. We ask for a two-year commitment.

Your Responsibilities:

Legal Analyst:

  • Conducting non-legal research & writing
  • Supporting case work & collaborating closely with attorneys
  • Communicating with potential new clients
  • Preparing and drafting documents

Office Management & Partner Support:

  • Updating firm calendar and deadlines
  • Preparing monthly invoices for clients
  • Facilitating marketing and website upkeep
  • Managing office inventory

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or obtaining Bachelor’s degree in Spring 2027
  • Highly organized
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong writing and communicating skills
  • Self-starter mentality with a collaborative and positive attitude
  • Must be available to start work no later than June 1st, with possibility of earlier start

Compensation and Work Life:

  • $54,000 salary
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401k plan with 3% employer safe harbor contribution
  • In-office five days per week with occasional remote work opportunities and PTO policy
  • Reimbursement of up to $1,000 per year for law school preparation (e.g. LSAT prep & testing, applications, etc.)

Interested applicants should send a short cover letter, resume, undergraduate transcript (unofficial transcripts are welcome), and writing sample (no more than 5 pages; non-academic writing samples are welcome) to hiring@pollockcohen.com. Writing samples should include a cover page explaining whether or not AI or another person played a role in drafting or editing the sample and, if so, the extent of that role.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, with priority given to candidates who apply by Friday, November 6 at 11:59 PM ET.
